Michael's approach to the Cuban church has been "¿Qué quieren Vds. que haga yo? (What would you like me to do?). He preaches and teaches on topics assigned months beforehand by Cuban church leaders.

Michael has enjoyed traveling and living with Cuban pastors, learning their needs and attempting to nurture them through annual retreats for pastors and their wives.

Rather than merely giving conferences, Michael has sought to especially invest himself in certain pastors who are or will become leaders of leaders. Jesus most closely worked, for example, with Peter, James and John. Michael therefore would appreciate your prayers as he teams with and mentors these five pastors (names withheld).
